Tree Disposition Planning
Many municipalities require that a tree disposition plan be submitted as a part of the permitting process. A disposition plan usually consists of a tree survey that shows the trees plotted on a survey, an inventory which shows the trees numbers on a spreadsheet with condition ratings, species, sizes and description of the mitigation efforts to take place. This can be a very confusing process for builders, architects, and homeowners. You will likely be required to hire an ISA Certified Arborist or Forester to have the plan created. The owners of ArborTrue helped author the tree protection legislation for Texas so our ISA Certified Arborists will be able to help you navigate the process with ease and confidence.
Creating A Plan
When we create a disposition plans our goal is to give the property owner a clear idea of what needs to be done to comply with the local city code and guidelines. For example, you have a few street trees, trees that are partially in the road because they are to large, that you would like removed. We develope a plan to remove the trees that will cause no off site damage, damage to the street. First we will do an inspection of the tree species and then fill out the tree removal permits and send them to the permit center. Once approved we create an arborist report that details what trees are to be removed and what fashion it is to be done in, what equipment we will use. When we complete the job our professional arborists will clean up the mess and let you enjoy your new landscape.
